Downforce Designs started with an idea born trackside at the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix with a simple frustration:
there was no real way to capture the thrill and energy of racing and bring it home. Most racing collectibles are either a poster or merch you outgrow, or memorabilia that feels untouchable.
We set out to create something different and accessible to every motorsport fan, living in the space between art and engineering. An artistic piece that feels as if it were lifted straight from the pit lane and placed into your home. Inspired by the pinnacle of motorsport engineering, reimagined as modern, customizable décor.

Handcrafted Philosophy
At Downforce Designs, each Front Wing is approached as a sculptural work, created with the same care, precision, and intention as a high-performing motorsport component. Every unit is handcrafted through a multi-stage process spanning over 10 hours, where time, precision, and focus are essential to attain a perfect final result.
From the flow of each curve to the balance of every pattern, details are carefully evaluated at every stage of production. Any units that do not meet our standards are entirely stripped and reworked to ensure the finished piece reflects the level of quality we stand behind.
Each Front Wing is produced using premium resin and finished in an automotive-grade gloss. The completed piece embodies our commitment to craftsmanship and respect for the motorsport design language that inspires our work.

Rooted in a culture that values restraint, quality, and thoughtful making, our work is intentionally detail-focused and produced in limited quantities. Each Front Wing is designed to invite personal expression through customization, made possible by product design that is purposely adaptable.
All products are created in small runs, with each design retired permanently once sold out. This approach allows us to focus on craft over scale, and on creating products that feel elevated and worthy being in any space.

No. Our pieces are original abstract motorsport-inspired wall art. Our Front Wing Wall Art pieces are influenced by the design language of performance aerodynamics, but they are not replicas of any specific racecar component.
