Refund policy

Nature of the Product
Downforce Designs products are handcrafted resin art pieces produced in limited, numbered collections. Resin is a rigid, brittle material by nature and must be handled with care at all times. These products are individually-made premium display artworks, not mass-produced consumer goods. 

Due to the characteristics of resin and the design requirements of the artwork, certain components may be thin or stress-sensitive. Damage caused by improper handling, assembly, installation, placement, or post-delivery use is not the responsibility of Downforce Designs. Please treat each piece with extra-care. Use soft surfaces when assembling the product.

 

Returns
As our products are part of a limited and numbered collection, all products are final sale (this does not apply to customers from the European Union, whose rights are outlined below).

All digital gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. 

Our Custom Livery Design service is non-refundable. Once designing begins, design hours can not be refunded and liveries are made-to-order .

 

Damages, Defects, other Issues 
Our inspection teams ensure that every product dispatched is in perfect quality. Our packaging has been designed and tested to withstand drops and impacts without damaging its contents. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you received the wrong item.

Damage, defect, or incorrect item claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted outside of these timeframes will not be eligible for evaluation.

Material Characteristics
Downforce Designs products are handcrafted using top-grade resin. Resin can experience minor warping due to stress, temperature, or handling. Tolerances of up to ±2.5 mm may occur and are considered normal for handcrafted resin artworks. Our team works hard to minimize any variations, however, minimal variations in the product, including but not limited to the pattern, texture, clarity, and structure may occur due to both manual production and material reasons. These minor variations are disclosed upon the point of sale, and do not fall under the defects or damage category.

If you experience assembly difficulty related to minor warping, please contact us for guidance before attempting corrective action. Damage caused by aggressive force or modification will not be covered. 

 

Damage Claim Documentation & Evaluation
To evaluate a damage or defect claim, Downforce Designs may request reasonable documentation, which can include (but is not limited to) photographs of the shipping carton, internal packaging, and the product itself. 

All damage claims are reviewed case by case. If damage is deemed to be the responsibility of Downforce Designs, we may offer a refund or other reasonable accommodation at our discretion.

Because our products are limited-edition artworks:

  • Replacement parts are not stocked
  • Full replacements cannot be guaranteed
  • Refunds are not automatic

Downforce Designs reserves the right to determine the outcome of each claim.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • Unassembled
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition

Customers will be responsible for covering return shipping costs and any associated fees. Upon reception of the return, the product will be inspected. Any alterations to the product or packaging will result in appropriate reduction of a refund.

 

Partial Refunds
Because each piece is part of a limited, numbered collection, refunds for returns may be subject to a reduction if the item is not returned in its original, unused condition or if the original packaging is missing or damaged. Any reduction will reflect the costs associated with restoring the product for resale or the loss in value due to the limited nature of the piece.

In the European Union, this reduction will only apply where the item has been handled in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

 

Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of our assessment in the state of the product. Once the refund is approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

For all refunds without reason (for individuals of the European Union), a processing fee will be deducted at 3.6% of the total order value.
